Terms of Sale

Terms of Sale

Applicable to orders and registrations placed from 22 October 2026. They cancel and replace the version of 11 October 2026, which remains available and applicable to orders placed before that date. Three separate regimes coexist: training funded by the personal training account, training paid for by the beneficiary themselves, and exams. Articles 4, 5 and 6 do not apply to the same services: each applies only to the regime it names.

Version of 22 October 2026, at a fixed address. This text is never changed after publication: it is the one you accepted if your order mentions this category. Current category and archives: Terms of Sale.

Article 1: Purpose, scope and identity of the seller

These conditions govern all the services offered by MY STORY (trading as MYSTORY), a single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company with share capital of 1 000 €, registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 913 423 083 (SIRET 913 423 083 00017, EU VAT number FR55 913 423 083), with its registered office at 14 rue Bichat, 75010 Paris, a training organisation registered under activity declaration number 11756521775 with the Prefect of the Île-de-France region (this registration does not constitute State approval). Contact: contact@mystoryformation.fr, 06 81 43 16 54.

  • training courses preparing for the Test d’évaluation de français intégration, résidence, nationalité (TEF IRN, certification RS6775) and in French as a foreign language for professional purposes;
  • taking the TEF IRN exams and the civic exam;
  • access to the online practice platforms sold with an exam.

Any order implies acceptance of these conditions. The applicable regime depends on the service and the funding method, specified in the order. The online practice platforms are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (Articles L. 224-25-12 et seq. of the Consumer Code).

Article 2: Order, registration, prerequisites and access time

Online order. The customer chooses their services on mystoryformation.fr, checks the summary and the total price, enters their information, then accepts these conditions by ticking a dedicated box. Where applicable, they also tick a separate box to conclude their training contract (Article 5) and a separate box to request performance before the end of the withdrawal period (Articles 5 and 6). No box is pre-ticked. For each box, MYSTORY keeps the text accepted, the date and time from its server, the IP address and the version of these conditions.

Confirmation. The customer receives a confirmation email setting out the summary of their order, the version of the conditions accepted and its permanent web address, where applicable their time-stamped request for early performance and their training contract, as well as information on the right of withdrawal and the model withdrawal form. The performance dates (exams, classes) are those in the summary.

For a training course, the objectives and content, the list of trainers, the times, the assessment methods, the contact details of the person in charge of relations with trainees, the internal rules, the prices, the payment terms and the financial conditions in the event of early termination or dropping out are given to the trainee before final registration and any payment (Article L. 6353-8 of the Labour Code): they appear in the contract presented before the order is confirmed. The information requested from the trainee is solely for the purpose of assessing their ability to follow the training and registering them for the exam (Article L. 6353-9).

Outside online orders, registration is confirmed on receipt of the complete file: signed form and, as applicable, funding approval or payment. A free placement test precedes each training course in order to determine the beneficiary’s level and adapt the course.

The access time, between confirmation of registration and the start of training, is eleven working days for funding through the personal training account, a period imposed by Mon Compte Formation. It may be shorter for training paid for by the beneficiary, depending on availability.

Article 3: Prices

The applicable prices are those in force on the day of the order, net of tax. The total price is displayed before any confirmation.

  • TEF IRN preparation course: 180 € + 40 € per hour, TEF IRN exam included (exam portion raised to 250 € when the exam takes place in less than seven working days)
  • TEF IRN exam: 185 €; 250 € for registration less than seven working days before the session
  • Civic exam (per category: CSP, CR or NAT): 80 €; 100 € for registration less than seven working days before the session and for the Saturday slot
  • TEF IRN + civic exam: 265 € (excluding the urgent or Saturday rate)
  • Online practice platforms sold with an exam: PasseTonTEF 35 €, PrepMyFuture 65 €

Article 4: Training funded by the personal training account

4.1 Funding

The training is funded by the Caisse des dépôts et consignations, which pays MYSTORY directly after validation of the service delivered. The beneficiary pays no sum to MYSTORY for the cost of tuition.

4.2 Flat-rate out-of-pocket contribution

A flat-rate out-of-pocket contribution of 150 € per application is payable by the account holder, pursuant to Decree no. 2026-234 of 30 March 2026, for applications made from 2 April 2026. It is paid by the account holder directly on the Mon Compte Formation platform when validating their application. MYSTORY does not collect it and does not invoice it. Jobseekers and account holders whose training receives a top-up from their employer are exempt.

4.3 Right of withdrawal

The account holder has a period of fourteen calendar days from validation of their application to withdraw, directly from their Mon Compte Formation account. No sum is due to MYSTORY during this period.

4.4 Cancellation, dropping out and absences

Cancellation is made from Mon Compte Formation. No cancellation fee schedule or administration fees may be applied to the beneficiary: the funding is a matter for the Caisse des dépôts, not for a direct commercial relationship.

In the event of dropping out or absences, MYSTORY declares the actual completion rate of the course. Funding is paid in proportion to the hours actually attended and evidenced by the signed attendance sheets.

Absences, whether justified or not, do not give rise to any free catch-up. Hours not attended are neither delivered, nor declared, nor invoiced, and cannot be compensated in any way.

4.5 Funding conditions

Funding through the personal training account is subject to the conditions set by the Caisse des dépôts et consignations and to the information entered by the account holder when using their rights. The account holder ensures that this information is accurate.

Funding decisions and timescales are the responsibility of the funder. Where funding is not obtained for a reason relating to the account holder’s file, the services already delivered remain payable by them.

The payment in instalments provided for in Articles 5.4 and 6.2 is never offered for training funded by the personal training account.

Articles L. 6323-1 et seq. of the Labour Code. Terms of use of Mon Compte Formation.

Article 5: Training paid for by the beneficiary

When the beneficiary funds their own training, a vocational training contract is concluded before any final registration and any payment, in accordance with Articles L. 6353-3 to L. 6353-7 of the Labour Code. For an online order, it is presented in full before confirmation, concluded by ticking a dedicated box and sent to the beneficiary with the order confirmation. The TEF IRN exam included in the preparation course is part of the training price and follows the rules of this article.

5.1 Ten-day withdrawal period

The beneficiary may withdraw within a period of ten days from signature of the contract, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt (Article L. 6353-5 of the Labour Code). They then owe nothing, even if classes have already taken place. This right cannot be waived.

5.2 Fourteen-day withdrawal period (distance contract)

When the contract is concluded at a distance, in particular online, the beneficiary also has the withdrawal period of fourteen days from conclusion of the contract provided for by Article L. 221-18 of the Consumer Code, exercised under the conditions of Article 7. The two periods coexist and the beneficiary may rely on whichever is more favourable to them.

If the training starts before the end of these fourteen days, the beneficiary makes an express request for this via a dedicated box, and acknowledges losing their right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed (Articles L. 221-25 and L. 221-28 of the Consumer Code). This request in no way reduces the ten-day period in Article 5.1. In the event of withdrawal after the end of this ten-day period but before the end of the fourteen-day period, a beneficiary who requested early performance owes an amount proportionate to the classes already delivered, relative to the total price.

5.3 Payment

No sum may be required before the end of the ten-day period. Once it has ended, no more than 30% of the agreed price may be paid. The balance is paid as the training progresses (Article L. 6353-6 of the Labour Code).

For an online order, registration is confirmed without payment. MYSTORY then sends a secure payment link by email: the day after the ten-day period ends, for 30% of the training price and, where applicable, for all the exams and platforms ordered at the same time outside the training; then, after the last class, for the balance. The dates and amounts appear in the contract. Two reminders are sent if payment is not received. If the first payment is not made within seven days of falling due, MYSTORY may release the classes not yet delivered, after warning the beneficiary in the payment request; classes already delivered remain payable. Only one confirmed training course that has not yet been paid in full can be booked online per person. Any sum not paid when due bears interest at the statutory rate after a formal notice that has gone unanswered; no fixed penalty is applied.

Outside online orders, payment can be made by bank card, bank transfer, cheque or cash, within the same limits.

5.4 Paying the balance in instalments

Once the training is finished, a balance of at least 100 € (and at most 4 500 €) can be paid in 3 or 4 instalments at no extra cost for the beneficiary, under the conditions of Article 6.2. Payment in instalments is never offered for training that has not yet taken place, nor in 10 instalments for training.

5.5 Dropping out and early termination

If, as a result of duly recognised force majeure, the beneficiary is prevented from following the training, they may terminate the contract; only the services actually delivered are then paid, in proportion to their value set in the contract (Article L. 6353-7 of the Labour Code). In the event of dropping out for any other reason, only the classes actually delivered remain payable, pro rata to the price; any sums paid beyond that are refunded.

5.6 Cancellation and postponement by the beneficiary

Any cancellation must be notified in writing. After the withdrawal periods and before the start of training: postponement at no cost, or refund of the sums paid less the costs actually incurred and evidenced.

Articles L. 6353-3 to L. 6353-7 of the Labour Code; Articles L. 221-18, L. 221-25 and L. 221-28 of the Consumer Code.

Article 6: Exams

The TEF IRN exams and the civic exam are organised under the authority of the certifying body: Le français des affaires, CCI Paris Île-de-France. Taking an exam bought on its own is a service separate from training and is paid for separately, whatever the funding method for the training. The TEF IRN exam included in a preparation course paid for by the beneficiary follows Article 5.

6.1 Payment

An exam bought on its own, together with the platforms sold with it, is paid for when ordering: by bank card on the secure payment page of our payment provider (Mollie), or in instalments under the conditions of Article 6.2. Registration is confirmed only on receipt of payment or of the funding approval.

6.2 Payment in instalments

Payment in instalments is offered through the Lenbox platform; the financing is granted by the partner lending institution indicated at the time of application, after review of the file and subject to its approval. It is offered in 3, 4 or 10 instalments, for an order of 100 € to 4 500 €. The financing fees are covered by MYSTORY: the beneficiary repays exactly the price displayed, spread according to the repayment schedule presented before any commitment. The first instalment is taken when the financing is approved.

Payment in 10 instalments is consumer credit. The borrower has a withdrawal period of fourteen calendar days on this credit (Article L. 312-19 of the Consumer Code), the exercise of which cancels the sale (Article L. 312-52). It is therefore offered only if the first exam in the order takes place more than fourteen days after the order.

Payment in 3 or 4 instalments at no extra cost, repaid within three months at most, can be offered whatever the date of the exam. From 20 November 2026, it also falls under the consumer credit regime and opens a fourteen-day withdrawal period on the credit; this period is independent of the one for the order and exercising it does not cancel the sale (Article L. 312-4-1 of the Consumer Code as worded by Ordinance no. 2025-880 of 3 September 2025): the borrower then repays the lender directly.

Klarna. When this method is offered on the payment page, the customer can also pay in 3 instalments with Klarna: the payment is then granted by Klarna Bank AB (publ), a company governed by Swedish law, under its own terms (“Pay in 3 instalments at no extra cost”), subject to its approval. The instalments are taken on confirmation, then 30 and 60 days later. Any service fees set by Klarna are displayed by Klarna before confirmation; MYSTORY does not receive them. The contract concluded with Klarna includes its own fourteen-day right of withdrawal, independent of that of the order. MYSTORY receives the order price from Klarna and remains solely responsible for performing the service.

For financing through Lenbox as through Klarna, withdrawal from the order (Articles 5 and 6.5) results in a refund by MYSTORY, made to the lending institution, which adjusts the repayment schedule accordingly under its own terms.

Taking out credit is a commitment and it must be repaid. Check that you can afford the repayments before committing yourself. From 20 November 2026, this notice becomes: “Warning! Credit costs money and must be repaid” (Article L. 312-5 of the Consumer Code, as worded by Ordinance no. 2025-880).

6.3 Procedure

The candidate arrives fifteen minutes before the start of the exam, with their exam notice and a valid identity document. A photograph is taken on site and included in the results certificate.

6.4 Lateness

No lateness is tolerated. Arriving more than ten minutes after the time on the exam notice results in refusal of access to the session: the session is lost and, on that basis, gives no right to postponement or refund.

For less than ten minutes, access to the room is at the sole discretion of the invigilator or examiner, in particular when the lateness makes them wait. This decision is made on the spot and is not a right.

6.5 Right of withdrawal and request for early performance

Registering for an exam at a distance opens a withdrawal period of fourteen days from the order (Article L. 221-18 of the Consumer Code), exercised under the conditions of Article 7.

When the exam takes place before the end of this period, or an online platform is opened as soon as the order is placed, the candidate expressly requests, via a dedicated box, that their registration be performed before the end of the period, and acknowledges that they will lose their right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed (Articles L. 221-25 and L. 221-28, 1° and 13°, of the Consumer Code). This request applies whatever the payment method. Its effects:

  • once the exam has been taken, or access to the platform provided, the right of withdrawal is lost;
  • before that, the candidate may still withdraw, and then owes an amount proportionate to what has already been provided up to their withdrawal, relative to the total price.

6.6 Cancellation and refund

Without prejudice to the right of withdrawal, MYSTORY gives a full refund for an exam registration cancelled up to seven working days before the session date, whatever the payment method, on written request sent to contact@mystoryformation.fr. The count is in working days, not calendar days: it is the same count as for the urgent rate (Article 3).

After this deadline, and in the event of absence on the day of the exam, the registration remains payable and is not refunded, unless withdrawal is exercised within its statutory period under the conditions of Article 6.5. This seven-working-day deadline is not to be confused with the withdrawal period, nor with the waiting period between two attempts.

6.7 Postponement

A postponement is granted only on valid supporting evidence accepted by the CCI Paris Île-de-France. The decision lies with the certifying body and not with MYSTORY, which forwards the request and the evidence. The certifying body’s exam conditions allow only one postponement per candidate, on evidence validated within one month.

MYSTORY may, for its part, cancel or postpone a session in the event of force majeure or an insufficient number of candidates. A postponement is then offered at no cost, and a candidate who does not wish to accept it is refunded in full.

6.8 Results

TEF IRN results are provided within 5 to 10 days; the official certificate is issued by the certifying body within two to three weeks and is valid for two years. Civic exam results are provided within 48 to 72 hours. MYSTORY is not responsible for delays in transmission by the certifying body.

Article 7: Exercising the right of withdrawal

To exercise the fourteen-day right of withdrawal, the customer notifies their decision to MY STORY, 14 rue Bichat, 75010 Paris, contact@mystoryformation.fr, 06 81 43 16 54, by means of an unambiguous statement (for example, a letter sent by post or an email). They may use the model form in the annex, but this is not compulsory. It is enough for the communication to be sent before the period ends.

They can also exercise it online, free of charge, using the feature “Withdraw from the contract here”, the link to which also appears in the confirmation email. MYSTORY then sends them, as soon as possible, an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium, setting out the content of their statement and the date and time it was submitted.

In the event of withdrawal, MYSTORY refunds all payments received without undue delay and at the latest fourteen days from the day it is informed, using the same payment method as for the initial transaction, unless the customer expressly agrees to another method, and at no cost to them, less, where applicable, the proportionate amount provided for in Articles 5.2 and 6.5. Where the order was financed by payment in instalments, the refund is made to the lending institution (Article 6.2).

Withdrawal from the training contract within the ten-day period of Article 5.1 is made by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.

Article 8: Conduct of training and attendance

Training courses take place in person, at the Gagny centre (3 bis avenue de Gagny, 93220), in small groups, in three-hour classes. The Sarcelles and Rosny-sous-Bois sites provide information to the public and registration for exams; no training funded by the personal training account is delivered there. Training paid for directly by the beneficiary, outside CPF funding, whether short preparation mornings or full courses, takes place in Rosny-sous-Bois. The exact location is stated in the training contract.

The beneficiary undertakes to comply with the internal rules, to attend regularly and to sign the attendance sheet for each half-day. Signing the attendance sheet is the basis for proving to the funder that the service was delivered: a half-day not signed for is deemed not attended.

Article 9: Nature of the organisation’s commitment

MYSTORY implements all the teaching, human and material resources needed for the proper delivery of the training. It is therefore bound by an obligation of means, and not an obligation of result.

Passing the exam, obtaining the targeted certification and any subsequent administrative decision, in particular regarding residence permits, resident cards or naturalisation, are exclusively the responsibility of the certifying body and the competent authorities. They cannot be guaranteed by MYSTORY, nor form the basis of a claim for a refund, a free extension or compensation.

No success figure given for information purposes constitutes a contractual commitment.

Article 10: Performance and subcontracting

MYSTORY reserves the right to entrust all or part of the delivery of the training to a subcontractor holding an activity declaration number and meeting the same quality requirements. MYSTORY remains solely responsible for the proper performance of the service towards both the beneficiary and the funder, and is the funder’s sole point of contact.

Article 11: Liability

Towards a consumer customer, MYSTORY’s liability is engaged under the conditions of ordinary law; no clause of these conditions can remove or reduce their right to compensation if MYSTORY fails to meet its obligations (Article R. 212-1, 6°, of the Consumer Code).

Towards a business customer, MYSTORY can only be held liable in the event of proven fault and direct and certain damage, and its liability is limited to the amount excluding tax actually received for the service concerned, except in the case of bodily injury, gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Personal belongings brought onto the premises remain in the care of their owner; MYSTORY is liable for loss, theft or damage only in the event of fault on its part.

Article 12: Monitoring, records and internal rules

For each training course, MYSTORY draws up and keeps the contract or agreement, the attendance sheet, the assessments and the end-of-training certificate, for the applicable legal period. Signing the attendance sheet is personal: the beneficiary signs the sheet themselves for each half-day attended.

The internal rules, drawn up pursuant to Articles L. 6352-3, L. 6352-4 and R. 6352-1 to R. 6352-15 of the Labour Code, are given to each beneficiary before they start training, displayed on the premises and published on mystoryformation.fr.

Article 13: Complaints and mediation

Any complaint must be sent in writing to contact@mystoryformation.fr or by post to 14 rue Bichat, 75010 Paris. A reply is given within fifteen working days.

In accordance with Article L. 612-1 of the Consumer Code, a customer who is a consumer may use the consumer mediator free of charge, after a prior written complaint to MYSTORY that has not been satisfactorily resolved. Designated mediator: CM2C, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, www.cm2c.net · litiges@cm2c.net.

Article 14: Accessibility

MYSTORY welcomes people with disabilities. A disability officer assesses the necessary adjustments before the start of training or the exam. Contact: contact@mystoryformation.fr.

Article 15: Intellectual property, recording and image rights

The teaching content, materials, exercises and tests are the exclusive property of MYSTORY. Any reproduction, distribution or use without written permission is prohibited. Materials given to the beneficiary may only be used for strictly personal purposes.

It is prohibited to record, photograph or film training sessions and exams, unless MYSTORY has given prior written permission.

Article 16: Personal data

The data collected are needed to manage the order and registration, to monitor learning, to prove the consents given when ordering and for MYSTORY’s reporting obligations to funders and the authorities. They are kept for the applicable legal period. The customer has the right of access, rectification, erasure and objection, which they exercise at contact@mystoryformation.fr. The privacy policy is published on mystoryformation.fr.

Article 17: Force majeure

Neither party can be held liable for failure to perform its obligations where this results from a case of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the Civil Code. Performance is then suspended; if the impediment lasts more than three months, either party may terminate without compensation, the services already delivered remaining payable.

Article 18: Applicable law, language and jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by French law. They are written in French; translations are provided for information only and only the French version is authoritative. In the event of a dispute, the parties will seek an amicable solution, and the consumer may use the mediation provided for in Article 13. Failing this, the consumer may bring the matter either before one of the courts with territorial jurisdiction under the Code of Civil Procedure, or before the court for the place where they lived at the time the contract was concluded or the harmful event occurred (Article R. 631-3 of the Consumer Code).

Article 19: Versions of these terms

Each version is published at a fixed address whose content never changes, and the accepted version is stated in the order confirmation:
