Training with the CPF
TEF IRN training course, levels A2, B1 and B2. Price of the training course: 1 620 €. Training course eligible for CPF funding. The CPF covers up to 1 500 € per course. When you register on Mon Compte Formation, a compulsory flat-rate contribution, set by the French State, is paid directly on the platform. It is deducted from the price of the course: it is not added to it. Exemptions: jobseekers, and courses co-funded by the employer. If you are exempt, an amount left to pay may appear on Mon Compte Formation for the 36-hour course, unless additional funding covers it.

We do not start any CPF application remotely: identity verification on Mon Compte Formation, the compulsory flat-rate contribution, paid on the platform and deducted from the price of the course, and the choice of your level are all settled in a single visit. Understanding the CPF
Why use the CPF?
The Compte Personnel de Formation (CPF) is a public scheme that lets you fund certified training courses. Every year, your account is credited automatically if you are an employee. At MYSTORY, our TEF IRN courses of 12 to 36 hours are eligible for CPF funding. Preparation for the civic exam cannot be funded by the CPF.

What cannot be funded by the CPF: taking an exam without training (TEF IRN as an independent candidate, civic exam) and exam packs. These services are paid for directly.

Registering on Mon Compte Formation, step by step
From logging in to your account to sitting the exam, here is the complete process for funding your TEF IRN with the CPF, with no surprises on timing or on the flat-rate contribution.

Create or log in to your account
Open the Mon Compte Formation app and log in with your digital identity (or create an account using your social security number). Your CPF balance is shown immediately on your dashboard: a full-time employee builds up 500 € per year, and rights accumulate up to a ceiling of 5 000 € (8 000 € for certain profiles).

Check your available balance
Check the amount credited to your account. If it does not cover the whole of the chosen package, several solutions exist: a top-up from your employer or paying the difference yourself directly online.

Search for the MYSTORY course
In the search bar, type “Préparer son test d’évaluation IRN” or “MYSTORY Formation”. Filter by location to find our in-person courses in Île-de-France.

Choose the package suited to your level
Select the option that matches your goal: residence permit, resident card or naturalisation. Before registration, a placement test sets the number of hours: from 12 to 36 hours depending on your level, in 3-hour sessions.

Confirm your registration
Once the application is confirmed, a legal period of 11 working days runs between confirmation and the start of the training. We contact you in the meantime to set your class schedule and your TEF IRN exam date.

Train and take your exam
You follow your preparation course in person, then you take the TEF IRN at our exam centre in Rosny-sous-Bois. Results are communicated within 1 to 10 working days and the official certificate, issued by CCI Paris Île-de-France, is valid for 2 years.
